- Toxoplasmosis
- SYMPTOMS for the Mild form may include mild anemia, mild irregular fever,
- swelling of the neck and underarm lymph nodes, muscle pain and malaise. Sign
- of the Acute form may include a rash, chills, high fever and prostration.
- The Chronic form may have symptoms of headache, loss of weight, diarrhea and
- inflammation of the eye. The Congenital form that may be caused from an
- infection of the mother during pregnancy may have signs of eye disturbances,
- convulsions, mental retardation, or central nervous system disturbances.
- CAUSES may be from eating undercooked or raw contaminated meat but it is
- usually from exposure to the organism in cat feces.
- TREATMENT. Consult your doctor immediately. Early treatment. Medication.
